gvSIG Online: Swipe tool

We start a series of posts to tell you about some of the tools that have recently been incorporated on gvSIG Online, and that many of you probably don’t know.

Swipe functionality is a tool that allows us hide a part of layer when applying a vertical viewing area. It allows us to compare changes or information between two or more layers.

In gvSIG Online the user can apply the swipe tool very intuitively with a horizontal bar that defines the viewing area. This tool can be applied to all the layers of our project.

Here you have a short video in which orthophotos from different years are compared. The geoportal is one of the projects of the SDI implemented at Onda municipality by the gvSIG Association.
